Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 apple (Granny Smith apple, cut into cubes)
  • 1/2 avocado (large avocado - peeled, pitted, and cut into chunks, I use a small one)
  • Lemon, juiced (.1/4 lemon)
  • 3/4 teaspoon honey (or more to taste)
  • Cinnamon, pinch (ground cinnamon, or to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine apples and avocado together in a bowl.

  • Step 2: Whisk lemon juice and honey together in a separate bowl; drizzle over apples and avocado and sprinkle cinnamon over salad and fold until evenly mixed and refrigerate until chilled and serve cold.

  • Step 3: TIPS - Do not omit the lemon as it keeps the apples and avocado from turning brown. Optional additions: walnuts/nuts of choice, raisins, grapes, yoghurt etc., use your imagination and enjoy
