Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds onions, thinly sliced (5 large, Spanish)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cans (10 ounce each) beef broth (or two -900 mililitres tetra packs)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute the onions in butter in a dutch oven until softened.

  • Step 2: Add all other ingredients and cook several hours.

  • Step 3: Serve with a slice of bread and shredded or slice of mozzarella cheese over top and put in microwave until cheese is melted.
