Step 1: Melt butter in a stockpot over medium-high.
Step 2: Cook onion until soft, 5–7 minutes.
Step 3: Add blueberries, jam, vinegar, cinnamon, ginger, cabbage, apple, salt, pepper, and ¼ cup water
Step 4: Bring to a boil.
Step 5: Reduce heat to simmer
Step 6: Cook, covered, until cabbage is tender,
Step 7: Stirring occasionally so doesn't burn
Step 8: Add water as needed so it does not
Step 9: About 1 hour.
