Step 1: In double boiler, scald 1 cup of the sour cream
Step 2: Mix together rest of sour cream spices flour and egg yolks. Temper into sour cream
Step 3: Stirring constantly so that sour cream doesn't curdle. After 15 minutes will thicken
Step 4: Add raisins and vanilla
Step 5: Meanwhile, beat the egg whites and 2 tablespoons sugar until stiff
Step 6: Pour cooled raisin mixture into baked pie shell
Step 7: Top with meringue and broil until browned
