The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 128 grams white bread (4 slices)
  • 140 grams cooked spaghetti (leftover spaghetti in tomato sauce)
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (or mozzarella cheese, grated)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Crushed red pepper flakes for garnish (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat up a skillet over medium heat. Place some butter in the skillet.

  • Step 2: Combine the butter, garlic, and parsley in a small bowl. Smear it on the 4 slices of bread. Smear it on both sides of the bread.

  • Step 3: Take the leftover spaghetti and put it on two slices of the bread. Place cheddar and parmesan cheese on top of the spaghetti. Place the other bread on top, making two sandwiches.

  • Step 4: Put the sandwiches in the heated pan and reduce heat to medium low. Cook the sandwiches for approximately 3 minutes on each side. Let the cheese melt. Try not to over cook the bread. Cook it to a golden brown color. Before serving, garnish each sandwich with red pepper and parsley, if desired.
