Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tuna, (drained)
  • 6 ounces white bread,(6 slices)
  • 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • Dredge:
  • 1 egg
  • 1⁄2 cup milk
  • 3⁄4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cracker crumbs, crushed fine

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix tuna with just enough mayonnaise to keep it together.

  • Step 2: Lightly spread each piece of bread with mayonnaise.

  • Step 3: Make 3 sandwiches spreading tuna not quite to the edge of the bread.

  • Step 4: Cut the crusts off the sandwiches.

  • Step 5: Cut each sandwich diagonally both ways, making 4 triangles.

  • Step 6: Combine egg, milk, flour and salt.

  • Step 7: Dip each triangle into egg mixture and then coat with the crumbs.

  • Step 8: Let set in fridge covered overnight

  • Step 9: Deep fry at 375 degrees until golden brown.
