  • 1 cup strawberries (cleaned and chopped)
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Sugar (to taste, if needed)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (chopped)

How to Make

  • Step 1: You need a container with a lid that is large enough to fit the 1 cup of strawberries. Place the strawberries in the container. Cover them with sugar to taste. How much sugar entirely depends on how sweet your strawberries are. Mix it well. Put the lid on and leave on the countertop overnight. There is no need for refrigeration.

  • Step 2: The next day, get a pint sized (16 ounce) jar with a lid. Put in the strawberries, vinegar, olive oil,maple syrup and the thyme.

  • Step 3: Use a hand blender and blend it. You can leave some chunks of strawberries if you desire. Take a taste. Add sugar to taste if desired. It's now ready.

  • Step 4: NOTE: If you have no hand blender, feel free to use a regular blender.
