Step 1: Whip the cream to soft peaks and fold in custard.
Step 2: Toast oats over a very low heat until they are very light brown and then take off heat and stir in brown sugar until well combined.
Step 3: Take four fancy glasses and begin to layer raspberries (hold back 12 for the top), oats and sugar mixture then custard cream, finishing with a layer of custard cream.
Step 4: Set three raspberries on top of each pudding and sprinkle with a small amount of sugar oat mix and chill for up to an hour.
Step 5: For grown ups, just before eating, pour over one teaspoon (or to taste) of Scotch whisky over the Cranachan.
