  • 1 can (15 ounces) beets,drained,sliced
  • 1 can (15 ounces)sauerkraut,drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 4 ounces swiss cheese,shredded
  • 4 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces rye bread,(8 slices)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Butter rye bread put on grill butter side down

  • Step 2: Put swiss cheese on each slice

  • Step 3: Put mustard on top to taste

  • Step 4: Layer on beets

  • Step 5: Grill sauerkraut with caraway seeds

  • Step 6: Top beets with sauerkraut

  • Step 7: Put a little cheese to bind

  • Step 8: Put together

  • Step 9: Grill until cheese is melted

  • Step 10: Cut in half
