Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces chocolate wafer (cookies)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 quart ice cream (coffee ice cream, softened)
  • 1 1/2 cup chocolate sauce (fudge sauce, purchased or your own)
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup nuts, chopped (your favorite: walnuts, pecans, peanuts, etc)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl crush the wafers/cookies and then add the butter and stir until combined.

  • Step 2: Press mixture into a 9 inch pie pan and the cover the cookie crush with the ice cream. Cover with foil and place in freezer until ice cream is firm -- this will take at least 2 hours.

  • Step 3: Remove from freezer and top with the chocolate fudge sauce and return to freezer for one day (10-12 hours). Before serving top with whipped cream and chopped nuts.
