Step 1: In a bowl crush the wafers/cookies and then add the butter and stir until combined.
Step 2: Press mixture into a 9 inch pie pan and the cover the cookie crush with the ice cream. Cover with foil and place in freezer until ice cream is firm -- this will take at least 2 hours.
Step 3: Remove from freezer and top with the chocolate fudge sauce and return to freezer for one day (10-12 hours). Before serving top with whipped cream and chopped nuts.
