Step 1: In a bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients to make a marinade.
Step 2: Rinse and clean the scallops and stir into the marinade; leave scallops in marinade for 1 1/2 hours.
Step 3: Drain the scallops from the marinade and wrap each scallop in a piece of bacon and thread onto skewers ~ If preferred cut bacon into suitable pieces, depending on the size of the scallops, and wrap them around the scallop.
Step 4: Grill for 5-7 minutes.
Step 5: The bacon should be crisp, so turn the scallops once or twice during cooking and be careful not to overcook.
