Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 15 grams yeast (15g or 1/2 ounce)
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water, warm
  • 1 cup milk (warm)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 450 grams all-purpose flour (preferably bread)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 pound grated mozzarella
  • 60 grams Gorgonzola cheese (chopped)
  • 250 grams cream cheese
  • 80 grams grated Parmesan cheese (please don't use the shake cheese, use freshly grated)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl, place the yeast and sugar, and stir until dissolved.

  • Step 2: Add water, milk, oil and salt, and mix well. Add the flour slowly and knead until a smooth and homogeneous consistency.

  • Step 3: Cover with a clean dish towel and leave it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in volume.

  • Step 4: Roll out the dough into two 12-inch (30 cm) diameter discs, spread half of the pizza tomato sauce on each disc and bake in preheated medium oven (180℃/370℉) for 10 minutes.

  • Step 5: Distribute the cheeses between the two discs, and return them to the hot oven for another 10 minutes, or until the mozzarella is melted and pizza is to desired doneness. Remove from oven and serve. Makes 2, 12-inch pizzas
