  • Noodles:
  • 1 pound wide egg noodles
  • 6 cups water,boiling
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Prunes:
  • 1 package(12 ounces)prunes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 lemon,cut in 8 wedges
  • 1/16 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Topping:
  • 2 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook noodles

  • Step 2: Pour off water

  • Step 3: Coat with 2 pats butter.

  • Step 4: Put prunes in pan and cover with water and boil 10 minutes.

  • Step 5: Set prunes aside and thicken the water (dissolve cornstarch in a little water and stir into simmering liquid until desired thickness)

  • Step 6: And put brown sugar in it.

  • Step 7: Fry bread crumbs

  • Step 8: In 1/4 cup butter.

  • Step 9: Put noodles in open bowl.

  • Step 10: Put prunes in sauce and pour on noodles.

  • Step 11: Dust top with cinnamon

  • Step 12: Sprinkle crumbs on top.

  • Step 13: Serve with lemon wedges
