Step 1: Heat the oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add the turkey and the onions. Cook until the turkey is not pink and the onions are starting to soften. This should take about 3 minutes. Stir it occasionally while it's cooking. Add the salt and pepper. Drain off the fat, if any, and return it to the skillet.
Step 2: Add everything else. Bring it all to a boil.
Step 3: Then cover the skillet, reducing the heat to medium-low. Cook for 20 to 22 minutes, or until the rice is done.
Step 4: Take a taste and add seasonings if you desire.
