  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • 6 ounces green beans, canned (cut into 2 inch pieces, 1 1/2 cups)
  • 300 grams dry rice (short grain white rice, dry 1 1/2 cups)
  • 2 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/8 teaspoon cracked red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons mustard (grainy)
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat the oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add the turkey and the onions. Cook until the turkey is not pink and the onions are starting to soften. This should take about 3 minutes. Stir it occasionally while it's cooking. Add the salt and pepper. Drain off the fat, if any, and return it to the skillet.

  • Step 2: Add everything else. Bring it all to a boil.

  • Step 3: Then cover the skillet, reducing the heat to medium-low. Cook for 20 to 22 minutes, or until the rice is done.

  • Step 4: Take a taste and add seasonings if you desire.
