  • 4 carrots,cut in chunks on diagonal
  • 1/2 cup onions,chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute onions and carrots in butter

  • Step 2: When onions are light brown

  • Step 3: Add flour and cook a couple of minutes

  • Step 4: Add chicken stock (or Vegetable broth if going vegetarian)

  • Step 5: Simmer 20 minutes until carrots are cooked

  • Step 6: When done season to taste with salt and nutmeg
