Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/4 cups rolled oats, (200 grams)
  • 100 grams almonds, (mixed nuts such as almonds, macadamias and pistachios specified) chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
  • 50 grams dried cherries, (mixed dried fruits (such as cherries, cranberries, sultanas and raisins specified)
  • 1 red apple, cored and grated
  • 2 cups apple juice (500 ml)
  • 1 cup low-fat Greek yoghurt (280 grams)
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 120 grams raspberries, fresh

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the oats, nuts, sunflower seeds, dried fruits, apple, juice and yoghurt in a bowl and stir well to combine, then allow to soak for 15 minutes until softened slightly.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, place the honey and raspberries (reserving a few to serve) in a blender and whiz until smooth.

  • Step 3: Divide the Bircher muesli among serving bowls and top with a drizzle of raspberry sauce and serve garnished with the reserved raspberries.
