The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (at room temp)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Red pepper flakes (pinch of)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 6 ounces mozzarella cheese (coarsely grated, divided)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 1 1/4 cups pizza sauce (or marinara sauce)
  • 2 ounces sliced pepperoni (mini slices)
  • 1 loaf (324 gram) baguette bread (warmed and sliced)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 400°F, In medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Fold in 1 cup mozzarella and all but 2 tablespoons Parmesan.

  • Step 2: Transfer mixture to shallow 1-quart baking dish. Top with pizza sauce; sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan, then pepperoni. Bake until bubbling and cheese begins to brown, about 15 minutes, broiling 1 to 2 minutes if needed

  • Step 3: Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Serve with baguette slices for dipping.

  • Step 4: Dip Tip: Want to give each person their own? Divide mixture in step 2 among eight 4-ounce ramekins, then place on a rimmed baking sheet for easier handling. Bake until bubbling, 12 to 15 minutes.
