Step 5: Pour over the brisket.
Step 6: Arrange carrots and onion around the roast
Step 7: Cover the roast with aluminum foil.
Step 8: Bake for 2 hours in the preheated oven. Remove the cover, and cook for 1 more hour.
Step 9: Let stand for a few minutes before slicing on bias and serving.
