  • 1 orange,peeled ,segmented ,skin off
  • 1/8 cup black olives
  • 2 stalks celery,chopped
  • Dressing:
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar, they had 1 tablespoons
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 2 ounces heavy cream ,(1/8 cup)
  • 2 ounces light cream,(1/8 cup)
  • 1/8 teaspoon coarse black pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix sugar and lemon juice

  • Step 2: Beat until dissolved

  • Step 3: Add seasonings and mustard

  • Step 4: Whisk some more add heavy cream and enough half and half to loosen it up

  • Step 5: Can add shallots here and will make salad dressing pink

  • Step 6: Let set for a bit and will thicken up

  • Step 7: Mix salad ingredients

  • Step 8: And toss with enough dressing to lightly coat
