Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • FOR THE CRUST:-
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled and plus more for pan
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs, or other plain biscuit/cookie
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • FOR THE FILLING:-
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 395 grams sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice, fresh (about 2 to 3 lemons)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 180C/350F degrees.

  • Step 2: Brush a square baking dish with melted butter.

  • Step 3: Crush graham crackers

  • Step 4: Then add in sugar and butter and blend to mix.

  • Step 5: Press mixture into bottom of prepared pan.

  • Step 6: Bake until lightly browned, 8 to 12 minutes.

  • Step 7: Cool crust, 30 minutes.

  • Step 8: FOR THE FILLING - In a large bowl, whisk together egg yolks and condensed milk.

  • Step 9: Add lemon juice; whisk until smooth.

  • Step 10: Pour filling into cooled crust; carefully spread to edges.

  • Step 11: Bake until set, about 15 minutes.

  • Step 12: Cool in pan on rack.

  • Step 13: Chill at least 1 hour before serving.

  • Step 14: Serve with whipped cream.
