Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 1⁄2 pounds boneless,skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cherry peppers, chopped
  • 2 banana peppers,chopped
  • 3 tablespoons cherry pepper juice
  • 1 cup onions , chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 can ( 7 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomatoes
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes,(if you want it hot)
  • 1 can (4 ounces)black olives, sliced
  • 16 ounce dry rigatoni pasta
  • 6 cups water,boiling
  • 1 tablespoons salt
  • 2 ounces parmesan cheese,grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: Start pasta in boiling water heavily salted

  • Step 2: Cook al dente

  • Step 3: Drain

  • Step 4: In stock pot

  • Step 5: Melt butter and olive oil

  • Step 6: And then add chicken.

  • Step 7: Cook chicken over medium heat just until they begin to turn white.

  • Step 8: Add mushrooms to chicken and cook for 5 minutes.

  • Step 9: Add peppers and onions cook 5-7 minutes

  • Step 10: Add garlic

  • Step 11: Add tomato paste and paprika

  • Step 12: Season the veggies and chicken with salt and pepper at this point

  • Step 13: Add stock tomato sauce,tomatoes, and spices.

  • Step 14: Bring to a boil

  • Step 15: Cover and simmer for 20 min, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 16: Add olives and simmer for 5 minutes.

  • Step 17: Add pasta

  • Step 18: Cook 5 minutes

  • Step 19: Add sour cream (can use heavy cream)

  • Step 20: Immediately, sprinkling each serving with grated or shredded Parmesan cheese.
