  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly-ground white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 pound mushrooms, sliced (fresh)
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons margarine, melted

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt 2 tablespoons of margarine in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Step 2: Sauté mushrooms until tender. Blend in flour.

  • Step 3: Add milk, stirring constantly.

  • Step 4: Add wine, mustard, tarragon, salt, pepper, and Tabasco.

  • Step 5: When heated add crab meat and mix gently.

  • Step 6: Place mixture in a lightly greased casserole baking dish.

  • Step 7: Sprinkle with bread crumbs and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of melted margarine.

  • Step 8: Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until lightly brown and bubbly.
