  • 2 leeks, sliced
  • 4 pounds large potatoes, cooked in skins (4 potatoes)
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • Parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic, optional

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat butter in frying pan. Add leeks and cover pan; cook 8 to 10 minutes over low heat.

  • Step 2: Peel potatoes and cut into thick slices; add to frying pan.

  • Step 3: Add minced garlic, if using.

  • Step 4: Season and sprinkle in celery seed; mix well and cook, uncovered, 7 to 8 minutes over medium heat.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
