Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 cups Original Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 (21 ounce) can blueberry pie filling
  • GLAZE
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk (or as needed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottom and sides of two 9-inch square pans.

  • Step 2: In large bowl stir all coffee cake ingredients except pie filling; beat vigorously with spoon 30 seconds.

  • Step 3: Spread about 1 1/4 cups batter in each square pan. Spread pie filling over batter (filling may not cover batter completely). Drop remaining batter by tablespoonfuls onto pie filling.

  • Step 4: Bake 22-25 minutes or until light brown. Meanwihle in small bowl, stir glaze ingredients until smooth and thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle glaze over warm coffee cake. Serve warm or cool.
