Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (6 ounces) piecrust ,(9 ounces)
  • 32 ounces heavy cream
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 green onions
  • 2 mushrooms
  • 1 jar (12 ounces) asparagus,drained
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 16 ounces cojack cheese,shredded
  • 8 ounces fresh spinach
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper,to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 450 degrees

  • Step 2: Roll dough out with rolling pin so it fits springform pan

  • Step 3: Place the dough inside the springform pan and let it overhang the sides

  • Step 4: Gently massage the crust into the pan to make it even

  • Step 5: Add 1/2 of the cheese even in the bottom of the crust

  • Step 6: Add the spinach in a layer

  • Step 7: Generously sprinkle with the salt and pepper

  • Step 8: Add remaining cheese

  • Step 9: In blender add eggs ,mustard,asparagus, onions and mushrooms

  • Step 10: Blend

  • Step 11: Whisk the cream and egg mixture together and slowly pour into the pan

  • Step 12: Run a rolling pin around the top edge of the pan to remove excess dough

  • Step 13: Place the pan on a cookie sheet and place into the oven

  • Step 14: TURN OVEN DOWN TO 325 degrees

  • Step 15: Bake 60 minutes or until center still has a little jiggle to it.

  • Step 16: It will settle as it cools

  • Step 17: Cool for 15-20 minutes before removing the pan
