Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (7 ounces)unbaked pie shell,(9 inches)
  • ½ stick butter,melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sweetened coconut, shredded,
  • ⅓ cup buttermilk
  • Garnish:
  • ½ cup toasted coconut ,for garnish
  • 4 ounces heavy cream,(2 cups whipped cream)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Step 2: Mix butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, coconut and buttermilk, and pour into pie shell.

  • Step 3: Bake for 35-40 minutes.

  • Step 5: Garnish with toasted coconut and whipped cream
