Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup red pepper jelly
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 steak (1 pound) beef sirloin (trimmed and cut in half lengthwise)
  • 2 jalapenos
  • 1 romaine lettuce (small bunch romaine or romaine hearts, leaves separated)
  • Radish, thinly sliced (6 radish)
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced (large carrot)
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced diagonally

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat grill to medium-high. Make glaze: In small blwl, combine pepper jelly, vinegar, and soy sauce.

  • Step 2: Grill steak to desired doneness, 4 to 6 minutes per side for medium-rare, brushing with glaze during last 2 minutes of cooking. Transfer to cutting board and brush with remaining glaze; let rest at least 5 minutes before slicing.

  • Step 3: While steak is grilling, grill jalapenos, turning occasionally, until lightly charred, about 3 minutes, Cut into 1/2-inch pieces.

  • Step 4: Fill lettuce leaves with steak and top with jalapenos, radishes, carrot, cilantro and scallions.
