  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoons basil
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoons water

  • Step 1: Heat oil in stockpot

  • Step 2: Add onions and pepper

  • Step 3: Add carrots

  • Step 4: Cook until tender

  • Step 9: And applesauce

  • Step 10: Simmer for 50 minutes

  • Step 11: Stirring and adding water if needed

  • Step 12: Last 10 minutes make slurry of corn starch and add to stockpot

  • Step 13: Cook until thickened
