Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups cabbage, thinly sliced (1/4 cabbage specified cups are a guess)
  • 180 grams bacon (diced, 6 rashers)
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt & pepper (pinch *to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix cabbage, bacon, onions, garlic, salt and pepper together in a bowl.

  • Step 2: Add half the butter to a hot barbecue plate, and then the cabbage mixture.

  • Step 3: Cook until the onions are transparent, adding the remaining butter half way through cooking time.

  • Step 4: The cabbage will cook down considerably.

  • Step 5: NOTE - Serve with your favourite barbecue meats and a salad.
