The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 package (15.6-ounce) cranberry quick bread and muffin mix
  • 2 tablespoons grated orange peel
  • 2 (58 ounce) cans peach slices in light syrup, drained, reserving 1 cup liquid
  • (29 ounces each)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 375 degrees.

  • Step 2: Place butter in ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Place in oven until butter is melted. Remove from oven.

  • Step 3: Meanwhile

  • Step 4: In a large bowl, combine quick bread mix, 1 tablespoon of the orange peel, 1 cup reserved peach liquid and egg

  • Step 5: Stir 50 to 75 strokes with spoon until mix is moistened.

  • Step 6: Drop mixture by spoonfuls over butter in pan

  • Step 7: Spread slightly without stirring. Arrange peaches over mixture.

  • Step 8: Sprinkle with cranberries.

  • Step 9: In small bowl

  • Step 10: Combine sugar and remaining tablespoon orange peel

  • Step 11: Mix well

  • Step 12: Sprinkle over fruit.

  • Step 13: Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until edges are deep golden brown. Cool 20 minutes.

  • Step 14: Serve warm.
