  • 4 green peppers
  • 4 onions,large
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon groundcloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

How to Make

  • Step 1: Scald and peel tomatoes.

  • Step 2: Grind tomatoes, peppers and onions. Add remaining ingredients.

  • Step 3: Cook slowly until thickened.

  • Step 5: Pack into hot quart jars

  • Step 6: Bring to 10 pounds pressure 90 minutes
