Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 24 ounces raw bulk pork sausage
  • 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup onions,chopped
  • 32 ounces frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese,shredded
  • 1 cup original bisquick baking mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 eggs

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 400°F.

  • Step 2: Grease 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish. Cook sausage, bell pepper and onion in 10-inch skillet over medium heat

  • Step 3: Stirring occasionally

  • Step 4: Until sausage is no longer pink;

  • Step 5: Drain.

  • Step 6: Stir together sausage mixture, potatoes and 1 1/2 cups of the cheese in baking dish.

  • Step 7: Stir Bisquick mix, milk, pepper and eggs until blended.

  • Step 8: Pour into baking dish.

  • Step 9: Bake uncovered 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

  • Step 10: Bake 1 to 2 minutes longer or just until cheese is melted.

  • Step 11: Cool 5 minutes.
