Step 1: Combine the flour, salt and pepper.
Step 2: Add beef and toss to coat.
Step 3: In a Dutch oven
Step 4: Brown the beef in bacon grease in batches
Step 5: Add all meat back in
Step 6: Add the onions, garlic, dill, caraway, paprika
Step 7: Cook until onions softened
Step 8: Add water.
Step 9: Cover and simmer for 2 hours or until meat is tender, adding water as needed stirring every 15 minutes
Step 10: Stirring occasionally.
Step 11: Stir in sour cream with a tablespoon of the flour mixed in
Step 12: Heat through but do not boil.
Step 13: Heat sauerkraut
Step 14: Drain and spoon onto a serving platter. Top with the beef mixture.
Step 15: Sprinkle with paprika and green onions.
