  • 6 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 lemon peel, cut into slices
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 6 eggs, well beaten
  • 16 ounces heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

How to Make

  • Step 1: Fill pan with 6 tablespoons of water.

  • Step 2: Put in sliced apples and the lemon peels. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and cover the pot.

  • Step 3: Let the apples cook for 25-30 minutes till very soft.

  • Step 4: Remove the lemon peels from the pot mash the apples while they're hot until they have the consistency of applesauce.

  • Step 5: Pour the mashed apples into a mixing bowl and allow to cool.

  • Step 6: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  • Step 7: Stir in the brown sugar, beaten eggs, heavy whipping cream, and lemon juice.

  • Step 8: Butter casserole

  • Step 9: Put in pudding

  • Step 10: Have a water bath place casserole in it

  • Step 11: Place the pudding into the oven and bake for 60 minutes, it said 90 seems long to me
