Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (20 ounce) crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 ounces Jell-O gelatin (cherry gelatin, sugar-free is ok, two 3 ounces packages)
  • 1 can (20 ounce) cherry pie filling (low-sugar is ok)
  • 3/4 cup Diet Dr Pepper (Diet Cherry Coke, or your favorite coke (non-diet is ok)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Drain pineapple, reserving the juice. Place just the pineapple juice in a saucepan, add the water, and bring to a boil. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Stir in diet Dr Pepper.

  • Step 2: Stir in Cherry pie filling and the drained pineapple. Pour into a mold, serving bowl, or individual serving dishes. Refrigerate until firm. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
