Step 1: Combine flour and onion soup mix in plastic bag and add a few chicken pieces, secure bag and shake well to coat.
Step 2: Repeat until all chicken is coated and reserve left over flour mix.
Step 3: Cook chicken in a large pan with oil until browned all over and then add the bacon and vegetables and stir until onion is soft.
Step 4: Blend reserved flour mixture with water and add to pan.
Step 5: Bring to the boil, reduce heat, and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
Step 6: Meanwhile, cook rice or pasta.
Step 7: Add sour cream and parsley to the chicken, stir through.
Step 8: Serve chicken with the rice.
