  • 1 pound beef sirloin
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces mushrooms,sliced
  • 1 cup onions,chopped
  • 1 clove garlic,smashed
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 8 ounces sour cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cut meat against the grain into bite sized pieces

  • Step 2: Melt butter into skillet

  • Step 3: Add onions

  • Step 4: Add mushrooms

  • Step 5: Cook until tender

  • Step 6: Remove

  • Step 7: Add beef

  • Step 8: Cook until browned

  • Step 9: Add garlic

  • Step 10: Season

  • Step 11: Add ketchup

  • Step 12: Stir

  • Step 13: Add broth

  • Step 14: Cover simmer 30 minutes

  • Step 15: Check to see meat is tender if so

  • Step 16: Add the mushroom mixture back in

  • Step 17: Mix flour into sour cream

  • Step 18: Simmer dont boil until thick 3 minutes
