Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 cups cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 (1 inch) piece ginger, peeled and halved
  • 3/4 cup bell peppers, cut into strips (different colored ones are pretty)
  • 3 cups snow peas, trimmed
  • 4 green onions, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons basil, snipped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

How to Make

  • Step 1: Using a steamer basket in a large pot, add the cauliflower and ginger to the basket. Put enough water in the pot to reach to just below the basket and then bring the water to a boil; steam covered for 5 minutes and then add the next 3 vegetables (-green onions); toss. Steam, covered for 5-10 minutes or until vegetables are crisp tender; discard ginger.

  • Step 2: Transfer vegetables to a serving dish and add the remainder of the ingredients (oil -red pepper); toss.
