Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 cups water (boiling, 950 ml)
  • 2 tea bags (good quality)
  • 5 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 lemon (4 slices needed)
  • 30 grams peppermint (fresh leaves, washed and bruised,1 cup)
  • 4 sprigs mint for decoration

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the water, tea bags, mint, sugar and lemon into a large saucepan or heatproof jug; stir to dissolve the sugar.

  • Step 2: Infuse tea for about 5 minutes, or to your desired liking; strain and place in refrigerator until chilled.

  • Step 3: Serve tea in glasses or cups with a sprig of mint in each or decorate with thin slices of lemon and strips of cucumber skin.
