  • 1 can pinto beans (16 ounce, red or pink)
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounce) yellow beans (wax)
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounce) green beans
  • 1 can (15 ounce) lima beans
  • 4 1/2 ounces onion (chopped, 1 cup)
  • 4 ounces celery (chopped, 1 cup)
  • 3/4 cup oil (vegetable or olive oil)
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Red pepper (or Tabasco, pinch of)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Drain beans and marinate in dressing made with the oil, vinegar, sugar, and red pepper (or Tabasco). Marinate a couple of hours or overnight.

  • Step 3: Drain off most of the marinade. Toss and serve.
