Step 1: Fill a large pot with water
Step 2: Bring to a boil.
Step 3: Cook the asparagus and green beans for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Remove with a slotted spoon and drop into ice water.
Step 5: Remove when cold,and set aside.
Step 6: Combine the oils and the lemon juice in a small bowl to make vinaigrette.
Step 7: Mix well and season with freshly ground black pepper.
Step 8: Dry the cooked vegetables on paper towels.
Step 9: Combine the vegetables in the salad bowl.
Step 10: Pour vinaigrette over the beans and asparagus.
Step 11: Toss gently to coat.
