Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds potatoes,peeled,cubed
  • 6 carrots,sliced
  • 4 cups water
  • 12 ounces pork sausage
  • 1 1/2 cup onions,chopped
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 package (1.8 ounces)dry leek soup mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 8 ounces frozen peas ,(1 1/2 cup)
  • 1 tube (12 ounces) buttermilk biscuits ,cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese,grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook the potatoes and carrots in water until parboiled ( i think you could skip this step and just add chopped veggies when you add peas)

  • Step 2: Drain place in 3 quart greased casserole

  • Step 3: Meanwhile

  • Step 4: Heat the sausage and onion together

  • Step 5: Drain

  • Step 6: Mix milk soup mix and seasonings

  • Step 7: Pour over meat mixture

  • Step 8: Bring to a gentle boil

  • Step 9: 4 minutes

  • Step 10: Mix in peas

  • Step 11: Pour over potatoes and carrots

  • Step 12: Mix

  • Step 13: Cover with foil

  • Step 14: Place in frigidaire

  • Step 15: When ready to bake

  • Step 16: Place in 400 degree oven for 45 minutes covered

  • Step 17: Uncover and place cut biscuits around edge and down center

  • Step 18: Bake 12 more minutes

  • Step 19: Sprinkle on the cheese bake 3 minutes more
