Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 ounces mushrooms (stems removed and sliced thin)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (extra virgin)
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt (a pinch)
  • 1 teaspoon sherry wine
  • Alioli (garlic mayonnaise)
  • 8 ounce French bread (sliced into rounds)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat the olive oil in a pan that has a cover.

  • Step 2: When the oil is hot, add the mushrooms, salt and sherry. Cover, and lower heat.

  • Step 3: Cook until liquid is released from the mushrooms, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  • Step 4: Toast bread slightly, just to dry it out a bit.

  • Step 5: Spread with alioli and top with mushrooms.

  • Step 6: Broil for about 30 seconds or until alioli starts to bubble.
