  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Frosting:
  • 2 tablespoons butter,softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese,softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons orange juice
  • 1/2 cup pecans,chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  • Step 2: In one bowl sift dry ingredients together

  • Step 3: In bowl combine sugar in oil

  • Step 4: With mixer on medium

  • Step 5: Add eggs one at a time

  • Step 6: Add pumpkin

  • Step 7: Gradually add the flour mixture

  • Step 8: Grease and flour and spray pam 2 8 inch round pans

  • Step 9: Divide pumpkin mixture into pans

  • Step 10: Bake for 30 minutes or until 0done check 20 minutes

  • Step 11: Cool on rack 10 minutes

  • Step 12: Remove from pan

  • Step 13: Cool frost

  • Step 14: Cream butter and cream cheese

  • Step 15: Add sifted sugar

  • Step 16: Add orange juice

  • Step 17: Frost cake

  • Step 18: Place nuts on sides
