Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 5 ounces brie (1 small wheel) cut in half horizontally
  • 2 sheets (2 ounces) phyllo dough (cut in half, 2 sheets)
  • 1/4 cup butter (clarified)
  • 1/4 cup pureed raspberries (sweetened seedless raspberry puree)
  • Fresh raspberries, for garnish, optional
  • Fresh mint leaf, for garnish, optional

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place a half sheet of the phyllo on a flat surface.

  • Step 2: Brush with butter, and place the 2nd sheet over the first, at a right angle to it.

  • Step 3: Place half the brie in the center and pull up the sides of the dough, then twist the ends gently. Repeat for second Brie.

  • Step 4:

  • Step 5: Place these phyllo "purses" on a nonstick baking sheet and bake at 450F for about 5 minutes, until golden brown.
