  • 3 pounds cantaloupe (whole)
  • 3/4 teaspoon sambal oelek (Asian chili paste)
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, course

How to Make

  • Step 1: Chop up the cantaloupe into large pieces, discarding the outside of the cantaloupe. Place the pieces into a blender. Add the sambal oelek, the lime juice, and the salt.

  • Step 2: Puree everything until it's smooth, then place it into the refrigerator for 1 hour, or until it's cold.

  • Step 3: Take it out of the refrigerator and stir it. Add more sambal oelek if you want.
