Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest (or the zest of one lemon)
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice (or the juice of one lemon)
  • 10 ounces marshmallows
  • 3.39 ounces cake mix (lemon cake mix, 2/3 cup)
  • 348 grams crispy rice cereal (6 cups)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Smear a 13 X 9 inch pan with some butter. Set it aside.

  • Step 2: Over low heat, melt the 4 1/2 tablespoons butter; adding the lemon zest and the lemon juice. Add the marshmallows, stirring until they're melted. Next, stir in the cake mix.

  • Step 3: Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the cereal. Either butter your hands or a spatula. Press the cereal into the buttered pan and let it cool for 30 minutes before cutting them into squares.
