Step 1: Cut lasagne sheets crossways into 2cm-wide strips and gently separate strips.
Step 2: Heat oil in a stockpot over a medium to high heat and add onion, garlic and oregano and cook, stirring, for about 3 minutes, or until soft and then add beef and cook, stirring to break up mince, for about 5 minutes, or until browned.
Step 3: Stir in paste and then add tomatoes, water, stock cubes and vinegar and season, bring to boil. == and gently stir in pasta strips. and reduce heat and gently boil, covered, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes, or until pasta is cooked and sauce is slightly thickened.
Step 4: Remove and serve with parmesan cheese (optional) and garnish with pepper.
