  • 1/4 cup bacon grease
  • 2 cups onions ,sliced
  • 3 stalks celery,chopped
  • 1 clove garlic,smashed
  • 1 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomatoes,diced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoons worcestershire sauce

How to Make

  • Step 1: Make dredge

  • Step 2: Preheat oven to 325 degrees

  • Step 3: Dredge the steaks do it pretty heavily

  • Step 4: Heat grease

  • Step 5: Brown steaks 2 at a time until golden brown in dutch oven

  • Step 6: Add onions and celery

  • Step 7: Add garlic and tomato paste

  • Step 8: Add seasonings

  • Step 9: Add broth

  • Step 10: Add tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce

  • Step 11: Put steaks back in

  • Step 12: Cover

  • Step 13: Bake for at least 2 hours until steak is tender
