Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 2 teaspoons instant espresso coffee granules
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cups oats (quick cooking)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (crunchy)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a medium saucepan, bring the cocoa, sugar, cinnamon, coffee granules, milk and butter to a boil over medium heat.

  • Step 2: Bring to a rolling boil and allow to boil for 1 minute.

  • Step 3: Pull the saucepan off the heat after boiling. Add in the oats, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well.

  • Step 4: Allow the mixture to cool for 1 minute and then drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Allow to cool until hardened.

  • Step 5: Do not refrigerate. Just pack away in an air-tight container.
